HPS2 - High Performance Solar 2

Funding: BMWi (Verbundvorhaben 01171551/1)

01/07/2016 –30/11/2021

HPS2 focuses on the demonstration of the safe and efficient operation of a parabolic trough plant with molten salt as heat transfer and storage medium, including operation of a steam generator. It is the first project on EMSP. Within HPS2, the basic infrastructure will be established allowing to extend the plant with future R&D projects on a demonstration scale for molten salt.
